What’s the Diff?

OK so i’m sure everybody out there is familliar with the phrase “bros before hoes”.  Then theres the female rule among friends never put a guy before your girls because men come and go but friends are forever.  That is the biggest piece of bullshit i’ve ever heard in my life.  Sorry to break to ya but friends are no more dependable than lovers. Friends can stab you in the back and betray you just as easily as a lover can.  And I’m pretty sure all of you out there know what I’m talking about.   All of you have had that friend you probably would have trusted with your life that stabbed you right in the back the second you turned your head.  And I’m pretty sure some of you out there have had lovers that treated you better than some of the people you once called friends.  Is there a real difference between a friend that would steal your idenity, steal your significant other, or steal from your house than a lover who cheats on you, or abuses you, or lies to you constantly?  Betrayal in any form sucks no matter who did it to you.  So now I ask you all why bother with silly rules on frienship and love? Why not judge each person individually and not based on their relation to you?  Because I can tell your right now just because your relationship with someone is platonic  doesn’t mean it has to last forever.  Yes lovers come and go…but friends come and go as well.  So no more bullshit about bros before hoes or chick before dicks.   People if your lover treats you well then it’s fine to put them before that backstabbing asshole that’s probably trying to steal them from you anyway.

Amen to that Bitchcakes. I especially liked the part about dealing with people on an individual basis. So true, yet it’s almost never done.

    so true bitchcakes.
I had to get rid of many people because they were without my knowledge and even directly to my face smearing me and walking on me with cleats.
there is no one you can really trust. not even yourself. it’s a scary world out there..

but your main point- I think don’t put anyone before anyone else regardless of their relationship to you. Give people time proportional to the time they give to you and the time it is necessary. I know as soon as my female friends get a boyfriend I’m secondclass to them
    and it’s like I don’t need that.

[…] My sister was musing the other day on the whole bros-before-hos and chicks-before-dicks conundrum. She was saying that friends are not necessarily more reliable than lovers. […]

One thing men and women have in common… they both hate women!
